As I get older, my hair is becoming more of a brown/red than a red, but as a little girl my hair was always very, very red. I couldn't stand it as a child, but I am beginning to appreciate it more and more.
Reply by Deb at RR: Hi Kalin. Thanks for submitting the lovely photo of 2 VERY beautiful young ladies! Ahh...prom night.... (takes me WAY back!! --LOL !!!) Well, its obvious to me that it's not just the red hair that makes you gorgeous, but I also see a stunning smile and confident-looking young woman. I'm hearing similar stories like yours a lot -- hate the red hair growing up and then as adults beginning to embrace it and love it. I guess we all have something we don't like about ourselves (red hair, big feet, flat chested, big nose, big hips, etc...!!) and the trick is to finally accept who we are -- unique and full of gifts and talents, made in God's image. I just had to say that I guess... Anyway, thanks for sharing your story -- and please DO visit again...!
