U.S. Air Corps (WWII)
Major Delmar A. Johnson

by Nat
(Wisconsin)

Her Grandpa.

Her Grandpa.

Her Grandpa. Her Grandpa (Bombardier) of the B-29 Her Cousin's Son. (The Baby, the othe Boy used to be s Strawberry Blond.) The Granddaughter.

A girl I know has a Grandpa (in heaven) with red hair. (She never met him.) She inherited his red hair, and so did her cousin's son. The baby boy looks like his Great Grandpa and his Dad, and the girl looks like her Grandpa and her Mom. (Her chin is her Mother's and everything else is like.... 100% her Grandpa's. LOL!
Don't you agree!?

Yeah, it is important to remember. And the redheaded kids Grandpa is proud of them and their siblings. Long Live The RedHead!

Great grandfathers
by: Mrs. Geraghty

Mabye you've checked out the Geraghtys but our story is similar. My son Eamon got his red hair from his great grandpa, my grandfather, who served in WWII in Germany (his photo is on here also in memoriam). He looked just like him. Same hair color. Same eye color. Same mischievous smile. Isn't it great to see people you love coming back and visiting you through you children?! It's so nice to see the legacy of good people! Your family is beautiful.

What a legacy!

Reply by Deb at RR: Hi Nat and thanks for the very unique photos and story. Yep, I think it's wonderful that the Grandpa's red hair got passed on. It's also so important to remember the sacrifices of those serving in the military -- and those WWII photos are priceless! I'm sure the Grandpa would be so proud of his family. Thanks for sharing this with us...and celebrating the redheads!
