Teasing: Agrees with many

by Stacey
(Illinois)

It's weird most kids don't like my hair but adults do. I have found friends though that like my red hair and they are supportive when it comes to teasing. While there have been times I wanted a different hair color, I never could bring myself to dye it. Its me! I'm off the wall and this helps me stand out. Redheads are special. I've even pulled that on teachers. "Why should you get special treatment?" And I'll say "It comes with the hair." Everyone else is jealous that I stand out naturally and they have to try.

Yes redheads are special!

Reply from Deb at RR: Thanks for your comments Stacey! Appreciate your honesty. I too find it interesting that kids don't like the red hair but adults do. I guess because adults appreciate the beauty and kids just see that red hair is different... So glad to hear you didn't dye your hair... You sound like a pretty amazing young lady... (feel free to submit a photo too -- my "Your Photos" page) Thanks for visiting!
