Stereotypes: Just a student

by Ilaria
(Italy)

"I'd love to have my hair red. I live in Italy and I can say that here in Italy there are many people (mostly women) who dye their hair red because it's a loved colour so I don't actually understand the all prejudices against redhead. But, I found this page interesting because I'm writing stories about a character who is redhead (most of my characters are redhead). About genetics... I study biology and there is nothing that links the temperament to the colour of the hair. Every person has a character that is the result of his experiences and life."

Thanks for sharing your opinion and what you've found out from your studies. Nice to hear how people feel about red hair there in Italy as well. I think it's always interesting how different countries and cultures have different views on what is beautiful.
