Stereotypes: From a Redhead
by Samantha
"I think it's all a bunch of baloney (I'd say the other but it's a bit too strong) about redheads being mad just because of their tempers that come with their hair colors. Somebody has to do something to make us this mad, and even then...
Many people can't realize the tolerance we redheads have built to the petty name-calling that we get before it goes too far. We are normal people just like everyone else in this country, and everywhere around the world. We have normal reactions like everyone else. But what sets us apart is that many ignoramuses will find any excuse (our hair color) to make fun of us redheads like they don't do with blondes, brunettes, or raven-haired people. Yet we're expected to act like robots? No, I won't buy that either.
And I also don't buy that redheads are not trustworthy. Who came up with that one anyway? But I will agree with the positive stereotypes put on us."
