I am a 37-yr-old female and a true born redhead but gets treated as if I'm not accepted at all by others. People sometimes say I'm not pretty and don't wanna be friends with me because I look different. I have very low self-esteem due to this and it has been very hard living as a redhead.

Beautiful

Wow, a true Celtic lady, and may I add beautiful. Do you realize you are special being of Celtic stock? You hold your head high and proud to be a such noble people, who were warriors that were feared by all. My family has a LONG history of redheads -- all my sisters' children are reds, most of my cousins are reds also. I would have given anything to have been a red but ended up as a blond; my 33 Y/O daughter has Blond with a reddish tint as well. Mother's hair was a deep auburn but you could see the fire when in the sun. Both sides of my ancestry were Scottish that came over in the 1700's. So lady be proud of that read hair and LOVELY green eyes that so many of reds have. God bless, from a OLD MAN Local Yokel who is 63 Y/O.

Wow...what is wrong with these people???...they must be blind. SO many people DO love redheads and I think you just must be hanging around the wrong people who don't appreciate natural beauty and have their own issues. I'm so sorry you've had such a hard time but it doesn't matter what other people say because I DO believe God made you beautiful and I hope you know that and realize how amazing redheads are! It's their loss by not being friends or taking time to get to know you...! Look on this web site because it's full of amazing redheads, talented redheads, people who write in and LOVE redheads.
