Redhead Mama

This is a photo of me when I was expecting my second child. My family all hoped for another redhead, as my firstborn and my third are beautiful blonds, and were excited for the upcoming birth. Unfortunately, Irelyn Shae passed away at 36 weeks. She had a full head of red hair.

What a beautiful name. Sorry for your loss. I miscarriaged a baby and then lost my grandma. She told me that she would watch out for my baby. I've had two healthy boys since. One blond and one red head but I still think of my baby. You look lovely.

Hello Melissa and thank you for sharing your family's story and photo!.... First, please let me offer my heart-felt sympathy for the loss of your precious redhead baby. Made me cry reading about it, and I can only imagine how hard this must have been for you and your family. Her name is beautiful. And you look radiant, but of course I think all pregnant women look wonderful.

I don't know if you saw the feature I have on my site "In Loving Memory" (see tabs on left side of web pages)... IF you feel like making a special 'Memorial page' in honor of Irelyn Shae, you can do it there. You could post any photo you wish there that reminds you of her or whatever you feel is appropriate...and tell us about her.... Just a thought...

Again, I appreciate you sharing with us and I do pray that healing and joy fills your home, your children are blessed, and peace fills your heart because I do believe your Irelyn Shae is in the loving Hands of the Lord...
