I am 15 and the only redhead in my family. None of my friends have redhead and no girls in school have natural red hair. I am proud to be a redhead but it does get hard being picked on. Anyways this is my somewhat story.

You're soo pretty!! I love how red your hair is. Yeah it's hard being a redhead...especially as a teenager (I'm 17) but as long as we redheads stick together it makes it that much better ^_^

Here's what I know as a 45-year redhead. When I was in High School, I heard it all! -- you know what I mean. I was the only redhead in my class....brutal.

I wish it weren't true but uniqueness is not celebrated until most of us grow up! Those same folks that thought twice in High School are clamoring to go out with a redhead!

Believe me they will figure it out but when has patience ever been a redheaded virtue?

Honestly, I am a redhead (18) now but I like how pretty you are. Wished others were like you. I know one thing - it's hard to date being a redhead lol

You remind me a lot of one of my own daughters at that age, who also got picked on a lot then too. She said it made her stronger and tried to be positive and ignore it. It will get better.

I think you're really pretty. The one photo of you with the darker dramatic eye makeup reminds me of my other redhead daughter too because she always liked that style and I always said how pretty she was without it...we laugh about it still because I think it's true. I just feel that redheads are so gorgeous with just very natural-looking makeup...that's me a mom talking I guess! LOL! Anyway, so glad you wrote in and shared. Stay proud of who you are and embrace it!
