Dogs. They come in ALL sizes, shapes, and colors....
These 'red dogs' are my ‘honorary red heads’ ...
Some of the terms used to describe dog's coats include rust, red, orange, fawn, mahogany, chestnut, cinnamon, apricot, or golden. Dogs have a sense of smell a thousand times better than ours. The human nose has about 5 million olfactory receptors to detect odors, but the average dog's nose has between 149 to 300 million receptors! Also, dogs are fairly smart, as the average dog can learn about 165 words (equivalent to the vocabulary of a 2-year-old child). (Source:Parade,07/31/2011)
DID YOU KNOW? The Hebrew word for ‘dog’ is made out of 2 words: "Ke" and "Lev" -- "Kelev".... It means:
-- ‘like a heart’ -- ‘as a heart’ -- ‘with the whole heart’ -- 'wholeheartedly’
