RED HEADS UNITE

My name is Kayla Bright!!! I'm 18 years old and a college cheerleader. As I have progressed through the years, my love for being a red head has blossomed. As a tot, I was once ashamed and embarrassed of my fire red locks, but I have now learned to embrace them. I know now that having red hair is a gift, not something to hide. All of the nasty looks and sneers that have been thrown my way through the years have only made me a more proud woman. I am here to tell my story to encourage all of the other pale-skinned, freckled, red heads out there! Can I get an AMEN?!

I appreciate your insight and honesty. It certainly sounds like you've had your share of negative stuff -- and it just makes me smile to hear how you've redeemed it into something positive.
