As a redhead, whenever I'm out with another redhead, people always assume we're related. Also, I'm constantly told I look like every famous redhead going, when the only similarity is our hair colour. It's starting to get on my nerves now, because nobody seems to compare all blondes/brunettes/mouseys/greys....

I see it happen too and yea would get irritating after a while -- I'd want to say "Can't you notice we look different?!" or something like that! -- LOL My own red-haired children had to deal with that as well!
Well, I just figure that apparently people have a hard time looking beyond the gorgeous red hair that keeps their attention and also noticing the other details about you and others! Perhaps you can take it as a compliment because they see how unique and wonderful redheads are, even if they won't admit it. Anyway, thanks for sharing it with us and hope you can learn to just smile and ignore it... appreciate your input!
