Only Foundation that works for me

by Rosie
(Southampton, UK)

As a pale (but flushes red), freckled ginger who breaks out, I had tried many foundations, tinted moisturisers, concealers, etc., with no luck. At best they were rubbish coverage or the wrong colour and at worst they have made my sensitive skin flake or rash!

But finally I have found Jackie Oates by Lush. Designed and formulated by three ginger employees of the company, it does all of the things above as you can mix it with a moisturiser to make it sheer or use it neat as concealer/full coverage foundation.

It is also made from natural ingredients which considering the price (£7.95 at time of review) is pretty good!. My skin looks even and feels great when I use it -- wouldn't ever switch though!

Lush makeup !

Reply by Deb at RR: Wow, thanks Rosie for the great LUSH review. I know my own ginger daughters like their products. Sounds like you've tried quite a few products as well and it's wonderful you found one that is good for your skin and works! Really appreciate your input, as I'm sure it will help other readers. If you find others, please let us know...:)
