Riding the Harley Enjoying the Sunshine Old GingerBread Man This was me at 5 or 6......

My family has lots of redheads, all covered with the most glorious freckles! Growing up as a redhead was a bit more stressful than I think most people can really understand, but it turns out it makes for a stronger, sharper adult! At 42 the red is fading to white at an alarming rate, but that's the road we're on! Love being different!

Reply by Deb at RR: I posted one of Tam's great photos on my "Red Beards" page, celebrating redhead guys and their red beards...His comments and story are also posted on my "The Male Room" main page -- Thanks Tam!

Love the red!

Reply by Deb at RR: Hi Tam and thanks for sending in your photos (from now and the 'old days')! Really made me smile...Always a pleasure to hear from the redhead guys out there especially and enjoyed hearing your story.

I know not everyone agrees, but I just love freckles on redheads. (my mom had tons of them). I can relate to the 'fading to white' part as well (at our house we call it Nordic blonde).

I have to agree with you that probably most people don't understand what redheads have to go through growing up, but like you many say it's made them stronger and more confident as an adult.

Hope you had a chance to visit my "The Male Room" page dedicated to all the redhead guys out there. Hope it's okay but I'd like to post one of your photos there as well. (If not, let me know on my "Contact Me" page.)

Again, thanks for sharing. If you're still riding that Harley, ride safe and keep the shiny side up! (we used to ride...) Please visit again...
