My redheaded Twins

by Jim McMahan
(Atlanta)

Max 13

Max 13

Max 13 Madison 13 Me

I am 48 years old now and was a full deep-colored red head when I was a kid. Boy did I take alot of harassment 35 years ago! In fact nobody knew my real name until I was a junior in High school because up til then I was only known as "Red"! Lol. And now I have boy and girl twins both with beautiful red hair. Funny, they get complimented all the time and almost never harassed! Go figure??!! Love it!

Reply by Deb at RR: Hi Jim and thanks SO much for submitting the great photos of you and your twins and sharing your story. Wow! Really made me smile today... You are a blessed family! Max and Madison are gorgeous and looks like you've kept some of the red hair traits as well.

Your story is certainly one I've heard from other redhead adults -- teased growing up and the nicknames. It's wonderful to hear that your own children aren't having to deal with the negative comments and harassment. I guess it's just a sign of the times that in many places red hair has become popular and fashionable!?? (although not everywhere for sure, from the emails I get!!)

Thanks again for sharing your family story ...and blessings to all of you! Please visit again...:)

(FYI- Jim, you made 2 submissions and I used this one with the 3 photos...if not what you wanted, let me know via "Contact Me" page okay?)
