My Golden Girl

I come from Russia and my husband is South African (of British and Dutch origin). None of us are redheads, but our gorgeous daughter Daniella is. I only speak Russian to her and I always tell her that her hair is of golden colour. She loves her hair and proudly tells anyone who asks that her hair is golden!

It's ironic that before she was born we got a golden retriever and these breed is famous for its beautiful golden colour and after Dani was born we got a cat. She chose him herself among 7 kittens. Guess what colour it is? Red of course! Now all our babies are red heads! Time for another one. Hopefully some time in the next couple of years!
