"One I'm looking for an old western movie. The year is between 1965-1973. In the opening a young girl with red hair is shot, then her Father. A brother ran into a barn and he was also shot. The youngest child (3 yrs.) runs into the cabin and the bad guys go after him. The next film shot is of a red headed woman arriving in a carriage and when she gets home all her family is laid out on tables in the yard. That is all I can remember of this movie, can you help?"
Reply -- "The movie your reader asked about is Sergio Leone's 1968 masterpiece "Once Upon a Time in the West." [thanks to Scott in Ireland from scottmovies.com!]

HERE'S ANOTHER QUESTION! What's the name of this movie?....
"I think the name of the film was something like "The Secret Life of Molly Reilly" or the "Secret Dream of Molly Reilly". In case I'm completely wrong regarding the name, here are some points about the film that may identify it --- Comedy start with feel-good factor as country yokel girl becomes famous opera singer. Irish(?) family of country yokels - lots of kids. "Molly" is a young girl (around age 13?) made out to look very plain and comical. She has red hair and pigtails and is very clumsy. She dreams of owning and restoring a deserted, overgrown house she has found but needs money. The kids in the family form a group which plays for money, and they enter a big prize competition which they win. At the end of the film, you see her grown up and she has become a glamorous renowned opera singer - with short dark hair, beautifully dressed, walking onto a huge stage in front of a huge audience and to great applause.
