Learn CPR and what to do if your precious redhead infant or toddler starts choking!
CPR stands for "cardiopulmonary resuscitation." Simply, it is using rescue breathing (from your mouth to the victim’s mouth) plus chest compressions with your hands to help pump the oxygenated blood if the heart has stopped.
-- IT CAN HAPPEN ANYTIME OR ANYWHERE....
Suppose you’re feeding your little red head baby at home or at a restaurant and he starts to choke?
Suppose your toddler is running around playing and chokes on a snack or small toy?
Suppose you are at play group with your redhead kids or visiting relatives and falls and it happens...
-- WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO? ---
Every parent and caregiver should learn CPR! I don’t want to scare you out there, but unfortunately one of the biggest causes of death for toddlers and infants is from choking. Without oxygen to the brain, brain damage or death can occur in 8 minutes or less. Learning infant CRP and child CPR!
SO, you can give them a fighting chance by knowing how to: -- attempt to dislodge the food or object blocking breathing, -- check if the child is breathing and has a pulse, -- then if necessary give CPR until help arrives.
Performing CPR helps supply some blood flow and oxygen to the brain and heart until emergency personnel arrive and take over.
