I don't mind being unique!

(USA)

I've struggled with the fact that I'm different and stand out, especially throughout my teen years. But now that I'm an adult I have learned to be thankful for my uniqueness. I realize God gave me my hair to make me special!

I've married into a family w/dark hair and dark eyes and my son is blond. I still stand out, but enjoy it and actually appreciate the compliments others give me instead of being annoyed. Enjoy it now, it wont always be red as my mom points out! Lol!

Thanks for the fun website Deb! God bless you!

Unique is wonderful!
by: Deb

Reply by Deb at RR: Thanks for your input. You have a similar story to many redheads who write in about struggling growing up but ending up loving their red hair as an adult... I think it's wonderful when we realize God made all unique and beautiful, regardless of hair color, but of course I think redheads are awesome! And, I agree with your mom...enjoy the red hair while it lasts! Appreciate your kind comments about the web site...Thanks! Please visit again.
