Ginger and proud baby!

I'm Ellie, but I'm not the typical redhead. Well, at least I don't think so... so, what happens to me is, Winter: fire red and pasty white; beginning of Summer: blonde and pasty white for about 3 days; Summer and Fall: dark auburn red and too many freckles to count. My eyes are huge brown eyes.

My experience of being redheaded: great! Well, the boys weren't that nice in grammar school, but when junior high came around, they were drooling. I was considered one of the prettiest. The girls weren't too nice, only a few liked my personality.

I have some of the stereotypes values, like smart, humorous, fierce, and a bad one, hot tempered. Let's just say my humor wasn't really appreciated till high school. In grammar school, I was called soulless, but for a reason, not just cause of the red hair. I didn't feel many emotions till teenhood. If someone fell on their face, I would be rolling on the floor laughing on the floor laughing. And blood, forget about it! I would be laughing till next month. Needless to say, I'm not like that now.

But being a redhead has really opened my eyes to how special we are. Did you know that less than 2% of the human population has red hair? Now you know! I always liked my hair cause one: brown hair is the same color as poop. No offense brunettes. Next, there are just too many blonde people. Black is nice, but a bit too boring sometimes. So to all you redheads out there: you better love it cause its beautiful. No lie.

I'm a natural redhead. I was teased alot when I was in school. It's that being different and extremely pale aspect that mad low self esteem a big play in my life. I would of traded my left arm for any other hair color but now that I'm older it's like a blessing: guys drool, girls are envious. The only annoying thing is "u know what they say about red heads" -- I usually come back with sarcasm like "ya n u know what they say about guys with little feet"
