(born 1948) This versatile and talented American singer is often seen as a redhead. She is also an actress in movies and TV. She's had a very successful career in musical theater and Broadway plus done solo concert tours. This famous singer has won multiple nominations and awards for Tony Awards and Grammy Awards over the years. Has authored children's books and involved in multiple charities.

(1931-2007) Versatile and popular red-haired American singer who recorded hundreds of songs, especially during the 1950s. Her pop style of singing incorporated R&B, jazz, country, musical songs and novelty. Some of her hits include: "Music! Music! Music!" ; "Till I Waltz Again With You" ; "Ricochet (Rich-O-Say)" ; "Baby, Baby, Baby" ; "Let Me Go, Lover" ; "A Tear Fell" ; "Bo Weevil" ; and "A Sweet Old-Fashioned Girl." She stole the show in the musical film 'Those Redheads From Seattle' (co-starred with redhead actress Rhonda Fleming). (See my "Movie Titles" page.) Like other famous singers, she also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Rhydian Roberts ("Rhydian")
(born 1983) A natural redhead, this Welsh baritone singer (hair now bleached silver-blonde) has risen to fame after his 2007 appearances on 'The X Factor' (a U.K. talent show). Before his appearances, he had only recently graduated from Birmingham City University’s Conservatoire and an opportunity to study musical theatre at the Royal Academy of Music. He has released several best-selling albums, ('Rhydian' and 'O Fortuna'), done various charity and gala appearances in the U.K. and Wales, and soon to be touring Europe. According to several interviews by dailymail.co.uk: "As a child in the Brecon Beacons, Roberts was self-conscious about his plump figure and curly ginger hair. But after dyeing his hair blond and becoming a regular at the gym, he soon became a star of his college cricket and rugby teams." Rhydian continues to pursue his classical music career with great success.

(born 1968) This beautiful red-haired Canadian is a successful and talented singer, songwriter, and musician whose genre includes pop and contemporary. She not only plays multiple instruments but is also a painter, producer, and philanthropist. Having received the Order of Canada and Order of British Columbia, she has also been nominated and won multiple Grammy Awards, among others. At the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, this famous singer performed her song 'Ordinary Miracle.' This famous singer has sold millions of her albums worldwide, plus putting together the 'Lilith Fair' concert tour to showcase other female musicians.

(born 1954) Pretty redhead American singer, musician, and songwriter. While in Seattle/ Vancouver area, Nancy and her sister Ann formed the band "Heart" in the 1970s. She released a solo album in 1999 'Live at McCabe's Guitar Shop.' Formerly married to American film director Cameron Crowe, she was involved in music for some of the director's movies plus a few cameo appearances.

(born 1960) Talented redhead British songwriter and singer with a smooth distinctive voice. He was the lead singer and face for the British band 'Simply Red' with his identifiable curly ginger hair that was prominently featured on their album covers and videos. The band's style included a bit of soul, rock, jazz, romantic influences during their 25-year career; the band split in 2009. Mick's first solo album 'Tribute to Bobby' was released in 2008. This famous singer is also a business owner (restaurant and wines) and founder of the reggae label "Blood and Fire" as well as managing the record label simplyred.com.

(born 1939) Considered one of the greatest rock drummers and most influential percussionists ever, 'Peter Edward Baker' was born in South London. He originally trained and competed in racing cycling, loved art, driving, polo. At age 15, this flame-haired talent bought a drum kit and later developed the use of 2 bass drums (not one), along with his flamboyant style. He apparently prefers to be called a jazz drummer. He's best known for playing with the bands Cream and Blind Faith.

(born 1961) Considered one of the top metal guitarists of all time, the talented redhead was born in La Mesa, California. This famous singer, musician and songwriter is known as founder and the lead guitarist and vocalist of the heavy metal band Megadeath. He also was part of the band Metallica as lead guitarist. He's since managed the Canadian band Baptized in Blood and apparently has become a committed Christian, changing his lifestyle to include a policy to not appear with bands considered satanic or black metal.(Thanks to Joseph!)

This redhead American singer is known as the lead vocalist for the popular hard rock band Guns N' Roses, which was wildly successful during the late 1980s to early 90s. This famous singer has dealt with controversy and legal issues over the years, dropped from the public eye for a time, and later resurfaced with new songs and concert tours. He's considered by many to be one of the top lead rock vocalists.

(born 1988) This young talented American female, sporting flame-red hair, is a songwriter and the lead singer for the band Paramore, which plays alternative rock, pop punk genre. The band began in 2004 and has released several studio albums and live albums. (born 1971) Known as "Tiffany" -- This pretty redhead began singing young, starting in country/western genre, then became a teen pop idol in the 1980s, especially with her #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 -- I Think We're Alone Now, (the original Tommy James & the Shondells' hit) and other successful chart hits. This famous singer appeared in the big teen magazines and on MTV, and toured as the opening act with "New Kids on the Block." She had multiple Platinum and Gold albums plus many Top 40 singles, often appearing on MTV in the early years. Famous songs include "Love is a Battlefield"; "We Belong" ; "Hit Me With Your Best Shot." This famous singer continues to tour, along with her lead guitarist, writing partner, and husband, Neil "Spyder" Giraldo.

(born 1967) Redhead American singer and songwriter in the genre of bluegrass, Appalachian, old time, country, gospel, jazz, rhythmn and blues, rock and roll, and Americana; usually with dark themes and about social outcasts. She performs with her guitarist partner David Rawlings. This famous singer is a Grammy Award winner and also was associate producer/singer for several songs from the movie soundtrack of O Brother, Where Art Thou? - which won Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2002. Sporting wonderful red curly hair, this New Zealand singer and songwriter in 2010 founded a 5-piece alternative rock band Jesse Sheehan & The Family of Actors. Jesse was the 1st solo artist to win the New Zealand Smokefree Rockquest and has positive reviews for the new group, which features top musicians from that country.
