This list of famous people with red hair is made up of individuals who didn't really fit into the other categories I had set up. So, I just created a 'miscellaneous' group of famous redheads here.

Patrick Joseph Kennedy II (born 1967). This boyish redhead American politician is the son of the late US Senator Edward M. Kennedy from Massachusetts. A Democratic, he represented Rhode Island's 1st congressional district for many years as a member of the United States House of Representatives. In 2010, he decided not to seek reelection.
Rachel Nichols Red-haired American sports journalist. She's a graduate of Northwestern University and had previously worked for the Washington Post and Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel. In 2005 she was one named one of 'Esquire' magazine's "Women We Love". She's appeared as a regular on ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" and "Monday Night Countdown" and NBA coverage plus a correspondent for ESPN's news magazine "E:60", "SportsCenter," and "Outside the Lines."
Ashley Brooks (born 1987?). She's the cute redhead little person seen on the Animal Planet's TV series 'Pit Boss' which deals with rescuing pit bulls. She's an active member of Little People of America. Born in Maryland, USA, her parents and sister are average height. On the TV series, she's the receptionist for her boss Shorty at 'Shortywood Productions' in Los Angeles, which books entertainment gigs for little people and rescues pit bulls.
Anne Bonny (around ?1702-1782?) This Irish red-haired female was one of the most famous female pirates (buccaneer). What is known about her life is from a 1724 book published in Britain, A General History of the Pyrates," which has biographies of the then contemporary pirates. She operated mainly in the Caribbean area but never commanded her own ship. As one of the famous people in pirate history, this female warrior has had multiple works referencing her including songs, novels, short stories, paintings, films, comic books, and games. Jacquotte Delahaye (born in 17th century) Not a lot is known about her, but apparently she had striking red hair and was one of the few female pirates. The story is that this French buccaneer reportedly faked her own death and then lived as a man, later returning and becoming known as "back from the dead red."
Alyssa Campanella (born 1990) This beauty pageant winner is lovely with red hair, but NOT a natural redhead and openly admits to dyeing her hair red. She was 1st runner-up in 2007 Miss Teen USA (for New Jersey) and was Miss California in 2010, and thus competed and won in the 2011 Miss USA pageant. As Miss USA 2011, she will compete in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Brazil in September 2011.
Marilyn Hickey (born 1931) Red-haired American Christian evangelist and minister, who has traveled extensively teaching Bible studies and doing crusades. She and her husband founded the current Orchard Road Christian Center, in Denver, Colorado's, and is one of Denver's largest churches. She and her daughter Sarah have co-hosted a TV program on various Christian networks, websites, and podcasts.
Alasdair Gillies (1963-2011) Dying prematurely at age 47, he's considered one of the finest Highland bagpiper players in the 20th century. As one of the most famous people in the piping world, Alasdair won almost every major prize in light music and piobaireachd (classical music of the Highland bagpipe). Born in Glasgow, Scotland, and brought up in Ullapool, his father, Norman, taught him to play the pipes. He served in the British Army as Pipe Major in the Queen's Own Highlanders and later taught piping in the USA at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh for many years. He was very proud of his own redhead teenage son, Norrie, who is also a talented bagpiper. (See an interview with Alasdair on my "Your Videos" page!)
Ginger McCain (1930-2011) This ginger-haired English National Hunt horse trainer is best known for training the famous horse Red Rum, who won the Grand National in 1973, 1974, 1977. This legendary trainer also won the National with another horse, Amberleigh House in 2004. He was nicknamed "Ginger" because of his red hair (real name: Donald McCain).
Sharon Osbourne (born 1952) Born in London, England, she's probably best known as the wife of Ozzy Osbourne (heavy metal singer), especially after their family's TV reality show 'The Osbournes' was a hit. Usually seen with dyed red hair and one of the famous people on 'The X Factor' and 'America's Got Talent,' she's successful businesswoman, author, music manager, promoter, television host, and talent show judge.
Anna Lutoskin (born 1990) This beautiful natural redhead is a fashion model. Born in Budapest. Tall with lovely fair skin and freckles!(Thanks to Lorenzo!)
Cintia Dicker (born 1986) Beautiful redhead Brazilian model. Born in Rio Grande do Sul and is of German descent, she's one of the famous people in the modeling world and has appeared in multiple high-end fashion shows (Gucci, Hilfiger), catalogs (Victoria's Secret, Lands' End, Gap, ), advertisements (L'Oreal, Macy's, Ann Taylor, ), magazine covers (Elle, Brazilian Vogue, ), and multiple editions of 'Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Editions' just to name a few!
Gertrude Bell, CBE (1868-1926) This amazing British woman was a writer, political officer, administrator, archeologist, spy, and extensive traveler in Syria, Mesopotamia, Asia Minor, and Arabia where she explored and mapped. Esteemed highly by British officials, she was entrusted with immense power for a woman during that time period. Along with her contemporary, T.E. Lawrence, she was a major influence in political affairs of the countries now called Jordan and Iraq. She's described as having "reddish hair and piercing blue-green eyes...," in the book 'Desert Queen" The Extraordinary Life of Gertrude Bell.'(Thanks to Heidi!)
