Aileen Quinn (born 1971) US actress famous for playing the main role in the 1982 Academy Award-nominated musical film ’Annie’. She was 11 years, playing a feisty red-haired orphan who lives in an orphanage and later gets adopted. Apparently not a natural redhead, she’s wearing a very curly red wig for this role; talented young lady. Lot of musical numbers (Other famous redhead, Carol Burnett, plays the unhappy orphanage owner). Now in her 40s, she lives in Los Angeles and trying to pick up her career again.
Amy Adams (born 1974). US actress. Actually a natural blonde (who knew?) but became a redhead prior to 'Junebug'. Red hair really suits her and, since the hair color change, she's been nominated for Oscars twice. (for 'Junebug' and 'Doubt'). Just announced in Dec.2009 that she's pregnant (father is fiance Darren LeGallo)

Arlene Dahl (born either 1925 or 1928) US actress, of Norwegian descent, born in Minnesota. Her son is actor Lorenzo Lamas. Beautiful green-eyed redhead who's starred in numerous MGM films and TV roles.

Billie Burke (1885-1970) (Real first name was Mary.) US famous actress best known for her role in the 1939 movie musical "The Wizard of Oz" as the powerful redheaded sorceress "Glinda, the Good Witch of the North," (which is the name of the 'Good Witch of the South' in the OZ novels.) One co-star was a fellow redhead Judy Garland.
As a young girl, she traveled Europe with her family (circus performers) and was educated there, later pursuing her stage career in London. Billie was a petite redhead with blue eyes, fair skin, and freckles. Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain), also a redhead, visited her theater performances frequently, and she visited his home on later years.

Has appeared in numerous roles but seen also in movie ’Spider-Man 3’ as she plays Peter Parker’s lab partner, "Gwen Stacy." Plays in the 1982 Academy Award-nominated musical film ’Annie’ as the unhappy orphanage owner. One of our most famous actresses and TV celebrities.
Debbie Reynolds (born 1932) US actress, dancer, and singer. One of my favorite famous actresses! Plays a feisty redhead in movie musical ’The Unsinkable Molly Brown’, about "Margaret Brown," American socialite and philanthropist who became famous as one of survivors of sinking TMS Titanic -- for which Ms. Reynolds was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress. She often appeared with reddish hair in her movies such as the 'Tammy and the Bachelor' and the 1952 'Singing in the Rain.' She's appeared in multiple TV roles as well. Over her long career she's won multiple awards for her acting and vocal recordings. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Deborah Kerr (1921-2007) Scottish-born actress who was educated in England and with numerous roles in movies, stage, and TV. Of the famous actresses, she is a favorite for many fans. Often seen as beautiful redhead. Perhaps best known for her portrayal as the governess Anna in the film musical ’The King and I’ with Yul Brynner.
Gates McFadden (born 1949) Famous actress known for her role on the TV series and films ’Star Trek: The Next Generation’ as the lovely red-haired ship physician "Dr. Beverly Crusher." She's also a teacher and choreographer.
Geena Davis (born 1956) (Virginia Elizabeth "Geena" Davis). US actress, writer, film producer as well as semi-finalist for the 2000 Summer Olympics women’s archery team. Also a musician and former model. Academy Award winner. Has appeared as a redhead off and on. Is a female pirate in movie ’Cutthroat Island’ and awesome in movie ’A League of Their Own’ about a real-life girls professional baseball league. An athlete AND one of our famous actresses!

Kate Winslet (born 1975) British actress, singer. This famous actress has appeared as auburn redhead as "Rose DeWitt Bukater" in movie ’Titanic’.
Katharine Hepburn (1907-2003) US actress of stage, TV, and films. Of Scottish and English heritage, she was freckled and had red hair, not obvious in her early black and white films. Color movie posters show her red hair -- 'Philadelphia Story,''Pat and Mike,' and 'Woman of the Year' -- she often costarred with fellow red head Spencer Tracy. She won 4 Best Actress Oscars plus had 12 Oscar nominations in addition to Emmy, Golden Globe, and Tony awards.
At 5 feet 7 inches, this tall leading lady was very athletic, enjoying golf, tennis, swimming, skating from an early age. She could be difficult and often refused to sign autographs or do interviews, plus outspoken and unconventional. She wore pantsuits and trousers for comfort (which women didn't do at that time) plus often went without makeup -- definitely her own person! One of greatest female stars and famous actresses in US cinema history.

This famous actress has starred in multiple films since a young girl -- with notable performances in the film 'Little Women' and 'Interview with the Vampire' (nominated for Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress). Stunning as the redhead girlfriend, "Mary Jane Watson," in the ’Spider Man’ movies (2002-2007). She has starred in multiple other films and has sang for several of these. She also supports various charities.
Julianne Moore (born 160) US actress, nominated for multiple awards, and gorgeous natural redhead. Has appeared in movies ’The Fugitive’, 'Nine Months' and 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park'. Apparently, this redhead beauty is slated to be the new model for Bulgari jewelry ads, to debut February 2010. In 2010 she was voted one of the "Top 10 Sexiest Red Heads of All Time." She has also written several childrens' books based on her life growing up as a redhead: 'Freckleface Strawberry' and its sequel, 'Freckleface Strawberry' and the Dodgeball Bully.'
