Beginning in the 1950s, she has appeared in a long list of popular TV series for over the past 6 decades. She's best known for her role as Edna Garrett in the TV sitcoms Diff'rent Strokes and The Facts of Life during the 1970s-1980s. This red-haired famous actress also appeared in several films (Hair) and TV movies as well as done voice-overs.

Joan actually had begun her career as a dancer, later becoming one of Hollywood's biggest actresses for a time. She won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1945 film "Mildred Pierce."

This famous actress has been nominated or won several acting awards. She appeared in Cary Grant's last film "Walk Don't Run" (1966).

This American actress with the husky voice is actually a natural blonde but changed to red hair for her feature film debut in 2007 'Superbad' and kept it, looking gorgeous as a redhead. She's appeared in various TV series and films. She had earned a Golden Globe nomination and continues to do movies, starring in 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' and as the female lead in the new film 'The Amazing Spider-Man' as Gwen Stacy. She ranked 10th on 'People magazine's' annual 100 Most Beautiful list in 2011.
	Michelle Stafford (born 1965). A pretty American actress who has appeared in several TV series and film roles. However, she's best known for her role as the unpredictable, controversial, and fiery redhead Phyllis Summers on the American daytime soap opera 'The Young and The Restless' - for which she's been nominated and won multiple Daytime Emmy Awards. She's appeared in various TV series, TV movies, and TV miniseries. This famous actress plays the lead role in the CBS TV series "Unforgettable" about a redhead former NY police detective (Carrie Wells) who has hyperthymesia, able to remember almost everything. One consultant for the show is actress Marilu Henner. Apparently, Poppy's red hair for the role is "more her natural color."
	Marilu Henner (born 1952). A talented red-haired American actress, dancer, author, and producer. She's appeared on Broadway and on film, game shows, and TV as well as a voice artist and authoring books on diet and health and autobiography. She's probably best known for playing 'Elaine' on the TV sitcom 'Taxi' (1978-1983). She has hyperthymesia (Superior Autobiographical Memory), able to remember detailed information about her life beginning at a young age; she is a consultant for the CBS show 'Unforgettable' about a character, Carrie Wells (played by Poppy Montgomery), with the same ability.
	Greer Garson (1904-1996). This beautiful and talented famous actress with gorgeous red hair was very popular during the World War II era and one of MGM studio's major stars in the 1940s. She was born in Britain but she also became a naturalized US citizen in 1951. She began her acting career on stage and later moved into films and received multiple Academy Award nominations, plus winning Best Actress for her role in 'Mrs. Miniver.

She first attended Julliard, appearing on Broadway, and then her 1st professional part was in a 2004 TV movie version of 'Dark Shadows.' In 2008 this famous actress was praised for her film debut and title role in the movie 'Jolene.' She's also appeared in various TV series such as ER, Law and Order, and others. She's a rising star and we're sure to see more! (Read her quote about being a redhead!)

Born in America, Stefanie has acted opposite some of Hollywood's biggest stars such as John Wayne and Tallulah Bankhead. She's best known for playing Jennifer Hart in the TV series 'Hart to Hart' opposite actor Robert Wagner during the 1980s (apparently her favorite role), plus she played the lead in the brief NBC spy TV series 'The Girl From U.N.C.L.E.' as April Dancer. She has a Hollywood Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; and she was an accomplished polo player, having competed in the U.K. She described herself as a "freckle-faced redhead" in her autobiography 'One From the Hart.' 	Bella Thorne (born 1997). Not a natural redhead, This pretty American teen actress is known for her redhead character CeCe Jones on the TV series 'Shake It Up!' on the Disney Channel. She is also a dancer, singer, and model, having already appeared in multiple TV series, movies and commercials.

Acting since the 1950s, this talented fair-skinned natural redhead actress of stage, TV, and films has won an Emmy Award and several Golden Globe Awards, plus nominated for various Academy Awards. This famous actress is known for appearing in films such as Francis Goes to the Races,' 'The Hustler' (with Paul Newman) and 'Children of a Lesser God' as well as various TV series like 'Twin Peaks.'(Thanks to Sheila!)

She's also an amazing jazz singer, having recorded several albums. She's appeared in various American TV movies and sitcoms such as "Still Standing" (as Lauren Miller) plus in "The Secret LIfe of the American Teenager" (as Madison Cooperstein) and "13 Going on 30 " among others. 	Anna Massey (1937-2011 ) This lithe redhead British actress appeared on stage and in various movies and TV productions. Her films included the 1965 'Bunny Lake Is Missing' and Alfred Hitchcock's 1972 'Frenzy.' She received the British Academy TV Award for Best Actress in 1986 for 'Hotel du Lac' as Edith Hope. Many felt she had an extraordinary voice and 'cut-glass English accent.' Her father was Canadian actor Raymond Massey, and for a time she was married to British actor Jeremy Brett.

Katie was diagnosed with Ménière's disease at age 20, which involves the inner ear and includes hearing loss. Fluent in American Sign Language, she plays one of the lead characters in the TV series 'Switched at Birth' (as deaf teen Daphne Vasquez); this series also features other deaf actors (fellow redhead Sean Berdy and Marlee Matlin as Sean's TV mom). She's had roles in numerous British and American movies and TV productions such as 'Moonlight';'Dr. Who';'Tristan and Isolde'; and 'Thunderbirds' (as Lady Penelope), among others.

She's made appearances on other TV shows such as CSI, My Name Is Early, The Mentalist, Law and Order:SVU.
