Known for her role as a cute young girl playing identical freckled, redheaded twins in 1998 remake of Disney’s movie ’The Parent Trap’. Also in films ’Freaky Friday’, ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’, ‘Herbie: Fullie Loaded’. In 2010 she was voted one of the "Top 10 Sexiest Red Heads of All Time."   (Barnes&Noble.com) | Lucille Desiree Ball (1911-1989) US actress, comedienne, TV sitcom star. She began acting in radio and B-movies, later moving into TV and films. Appearing as a blonde in early films, she later went red in the 1940s and became famous for her dyed red hair. She won Emmy Awards and other awards with one of Hollywood’s longest careers, appearing on TV for over 30 years and as a movie star from 1930s to 1970s. Her TV shows: The classic ’I Love Lucy’, ‘The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour’ , ‘The Lucy Show’ and ‘Here’s Lucy’. She's also been honored to be on a US postage stamp. (My redheads LOVED these films -- highly recommended! The first movie is great, and once you start watching you'll want to see the rest too!) She's appeared in some TV roles in American and Canada, plus also has returned to the stage. Another role is humanitarian and a spokesperson for World Vision Canada. |
