This is a list of famous actors with red hair, most of whom are natural redheads, but I also included actors that have dyed their hair or may wear a red wig for a role.
Many of these actors are also accomplished directors, musicians, producers, and more.
Some of their roles were 'family-friendly' but sometimes they were in more serious adult-context roles.
Adam Savage (born 1967) Entertaining co-host of US TV show ‘MythBusters’ on the Discovery Channel. He’s an actor, special effects engineer, sculptor, and educator. He's worked on movies/films and commercials plus has done research and development for toys, made props, and more. A very creative and interesting man who describes himself as a 'maker of things' who also happens to have wonderful red hair and beard!

This famous actor is best known for his brilliant role as true-life soldier Major Richard Winters (actually a blonde), who was the famous soldier from World War II in the HBO miniseries ‘Band of Brothers’. This Emmy-award-winning series is excellent (parental guidance due to graphic war violence). He also played Soames Forsyte in the ITV miniseries ‘The Forsyte Saga.’ Cast as lead in new pilot series 'Homeland'as Marine Sergeant Scott Brody, to be aired 2011. This famous actor is definitely a gorgeous redhead with piercing blue eyes and the fair skin!
Danny Bonaduce (born 1959). Former US child actor initially best known for his role as redhead Danny Partridge in the US TV series ‘The Partridge Family’ during the 1970s. Hoping the best for him and that he finds contentment.

Nominated for Golden Globe award for role in the 1985 film 'Mask' plus did well in 1987 film 'Some Kind of Wonderful.' Liked his performance as redhead Sgt. Harpo Marx (Real name: Adolph Marx) (1888-1964) Part of the Marx Brothers comedy team, he played the harp (self-taught), never speaking and using a horn to communicate. This famous actor's trademark was his big old top hat, horn, and a curly red wig. Not easy to tell was red because most of their comedy films from the 1920s were black and white!

Richard ‘Red’ Skelton (1913-1997). Talented US comedian famous for his popular radio and TV shows from about 1930s to 1970. He was a wonderful clown, talented mime, vaudeville and Broadway star, actor in movies and on radio, stand-up comedian in clubs, and a painter. Used to love watching this famous actor's old TV shows that gave us a lot of chuckles.
Nicknamed ‘Red’ because of his bright red hair. He continued to perform into his senior years, gray hair an all!
