Armed Forces: Red Heads Serving

Salute Soldier

The Armed Forces....We know first-hand about the pride of service to our country and camaraderie as well as the challenges, the separations, and the sacrifices.

Our own red head and family members have served in the military.

This page is DEDICATED TO:
--- our red heads, our special loved ones, in the Armed Services and various military branches,
--- to famous redheads who've served (such as John Glenn, former Marine fighter pilot/Astronaut)
--- To those we have lost and those still with us,
--- to ALL the men and women serving in the military worldwide
and to their families.

May God bless you and protect EVERY STEP step along the way.

...Please take a moment, remember, and say a prayer for them...

According to Jari Villanueva, bugler/historian, the most popular verses for "TAPS" are:

Day is done, gone the sun,
From the hills, from the lake, from the sky.
All is well, safely rest,
God is nigh.

Go to sleep, peaceful sleep
May the soldier or sailor, God keep.
On the land or the deep,
Safe in sleep.

Fades the light. And afar
Goeth day, And the stars shineth bright,
Fare thee well; Day has gone,
Night is on.

Thanks and praise, For our days,
'Neath the sun, 'Neath the stars, Neath the sky,
As we go, This we know,
God is nigh.

ROLL CALL

To honor our red heads serving in the Armed Forces,
I'm putting together a "Roll Call".

I invite you to submit your service member's FIRST NAME and COUNTRY and I will list it below. This will also serve as a reminder to pray for the men and women in military service. (I've already posted names from our family who have served.)

Although my emphasis is of course on our red heads, ALL veterans' names are welcome! You may also submit the names of those military veterans no longer with us. I'd be honored to post them below.
